This policy explains what Terrarium Station LLC collects, why, and what control you have. It reflects the tools this site actually uses.
What we collect
- Order information — name, shipping and billing address, email, and phone, collected at checkout to fulfil your order and arrange live-animal delivery.
- Payment details — handled by the relevant payment provider (Stripe, PayPal, and similar). We never see or store your full card number.
- Account information — if you create an account, your details and order history.
- Email marketing — if you subscribe, your email address is stored in Omnisend, our newsletter platform.
- Technical data — IP address, browser, and pages visited, via cookies and server logs.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and understand site usage. Non-essential cookies require your consent, which you give or decline through the consent banner (CookieYes) and can change at any time via the banner’s revisit link.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is necessary with our payment processors (to take payment), shipping carriers (to deliver your order), Omnisend (to send newsletters you opted into), and Cloudways (our hosting provider). We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or the Colorado Privacy Act. To make a request, email contact@terrariumstation.com.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
