Freshwater snails

Freshwater snails recorded here are Tylomelania, a genus endemic to the ancient lakes of Sulawesi and largely undescribed at species level. Because valid binomials do not exist for most forms in the hobby, records use a trade designation as the working identifier and are kept distinct from one another rather than merged. Origin matters especially here: wild-collected and captive-bred lines are labelled separately.
